Peter has achieved significant design, landscape and environment awards on key projects and worked with leading Australian companies including Delfin, Australand, VicUrban, Medallist/ Urban Pacific, Buxton Group, GEO Property Group and Gersh Investment Partners.

 

A qualified civil engineer, Peter uses his 12 years of experience as a consultant and construction manager to give an insightful perspective to development management and the effective use of resources to maximise outcomes.

 

This specialised experience combined with his vast knowledge, understanding of large complex projects and achievements over the years amass to a dynamic resource that is dependable and steadfast.

 

Peter was the Development Director of Eynesbury, Victoria’s newest township, with local council approval for 2900 allotments just 40km west of Melbourne’s CBD.

 

Reporting to the Board of Directors, Peter was responsible for the overall development of Eynesbury. Under his management, annual sales doubled to over 250 lots in 2010 and his vision, product definition and strategies put in place programs to achieve 400 lots pa, year-on-year. He also implemented an $80m ‘General Scheme’ program to provide infrastructure to service the town in a cost effective and timely manner.

 

The project was awarded a UDIA Award for Environmental Excellence in 2010.

 

Peter was the General Manager of property where he was responsible for the full range of operations of Buxton Property, a subsidiary of Buxton Group. He successfully implemented and delivered projects with a value of $175m including Rylands of Kew – 72 Independent Living Apartments, Rylands of Hawthorn – 82 Independent Living Apartments, Delgany in Portsea – 18 apartments, eight townhouses and six houses.

 

Peter was responsible for the financial performance of Buxton Property; in particular relating to maximising opportunities with available equity by building relationships and careful cash management.

 

Peter was Senior Development Manager responsible for the implementation of civil infrastructure projects across Melbourne. He was also a senior member of the acquisition team responsible for purchase of new projects including conception, costing, analysis and negotiation. He successfully implemented and delivered over 16 medium density projects for 800 plus homes including the UDIA Award winning Baltusrol in Cheltenham.

 

Peter was part of the acquisitions team that purchased Callaway Park in Sunshine, The Range in Croydon, Vantage Point in Doreen and many others to provide the base for the growth of the Australand business in Victoria.
